Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the IoT intrusion-detection auxiliary devices and related applications and servers (collectively, the "Service") provided by VisenX Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — Auxiliary Device Notice
The Service and devices are an auxiliary (supplementary) aid for home/space awareness. They are not a substitute for professional security monitoring, emergency dispatch, public emergency services (e.g., police/fire), life-safety systems (such as fire or gas detection), or insurance. Notifications may be delayed or fail to be delivered depending on internet, power and device conditions and on third parties (mobile carriers, Google/Apple push, Meta Messenger). You must not rely on the Service as your sole safety measure and should maintain separate professional security, emergency-response and insurance measures as needed.

The Service detects sensor events (suspected intrusion, SOS, etc.) and sends app push and/or messenger notifications, and provides recipient and device management. The Service does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and false alarms or missed events may occur.

Delivery depends on mobile networks, internet, power, device state and third-party platforms including Google (FCM), Apple (APNs) and Meta (Messenger). We are not responsible for outcomes caused by third-party outages, policy changes or delays.

6. Firmware & Security Updates

We may update device firmware (OTA) and software to maintain quality and security. Some features may require the latest version.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service and related software, trademarks and content belong to us or our licensors. You receive only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and any particular outcome (such as reliably detecting, preventing or notifying of an intrusion).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use the Service, delayed or missed notifications, false or missed events, or third-party acts (such as intrusion or theft). Our total liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to a reasonable amount such as the fees you actually paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful or improper use of the Service.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may restrict or suspend access without prior notice if you breach these Terms. You may terminate (delete) your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, etc.) survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and will announce material changes at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes adverse to users).

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of 대한민국 / Republic of Korea. Disputes are first addressed by good-faith negotiation, and your rights under applicable consumer-protection law are not limited.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
